The clones were deployed over the entire galaxy to quell the Separatists. Some were trained in grappling techniques and jetpack combat. However, there were other weapons and survival gear available to them in the battlefield. Many clones complained of the weapon's low fire weight and inaccuracy, an almost definite nod to the later Stormtroopers. The clones were assigned DC-15 blasters and a few other DC Weapon variants.

Many however died in the ensuing conflicts and were in short supply during the Clone Wars, but their skills did outmatch those of the Battle Droids used in the Confederacy of Independent systems arsenal.

When the Clone Wars erupted after the events of the Battle of Geonosis, the Clones were deployed all over the galaxy to crush Separatist strongholds and bases, seeing action all over the galaxy. In Kenobi's case, this includes afterwards, when when clones saved him from the Empire headed by Senior Clone Trooper Marshal Commander Gordon. However, some Clones would refuse Order 66, and fight on with their Jedi generals such as Nathaniel Kenobi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with other notable Jedi with whom they fought with in the Clone Wars. These soldiers were the predecessor of the Stormtrooper, but would still see active service when the Galactic Empire rose to power in some cases.

The clones fought under Jedi generals and other Republic naval officers on a variety of different worlds and other planets from the Tingel Arm to the Mid Rim. These clones had two phases of armor phase 1, which was clunky and hard to move in, and phase 2, which was more mobile and was more resilient to shots from droid blasters.
